Work & Experience
My roles and responsibilities include : • Designed and implemented a Power BI reporting ecosystem from scratch to support the University Sports, Department of Academy Services, the eye clinic and the careers and employability departments. • Collaborated with department leads and business stakeholders to understand business KPIs and translated them into interactive and intuitive dashboards. • Communicated effectively with stakeholders and helped them in resolving their queries/tickets raised through service desk portal. • Developed custom DAX calculations for student engagement, student performance tracking, modules and course performance analytics, and also extracting historical students transcripts and verification letters on demand. • Built parameterized reports and drill-through pages to allow dynamic user selections. • Updated source control documents for changes in views, tables or any other components for development, testing and production environments. • Conducted Power BI enablement workshops across teams and best practices to implement Power BI reporting solutions. • Led integration of datasets using Power Query and resolved refresh failures and security configuration issues. • Defined workspace governance and access roles through Windows Azure Active Directory Power BI groups.
